Bring Back Beth!

For those of whom are unfamiliar with some of the references in the comic, The Walking Dead character Beth was killed in the midseason finale, sparking outrage among fans. 50,000 signatures were collected on a petition to bring her back, and many fans sent spoons to AMC to protest the death (See http://comicbook.com/2014/12/12/the-walking-dead-fans-sending-plastic-spoons-to-amc-to-protest-c/).

I wanted to contrast this a bit with the Star Trek protests, and also pose a bit of conflict between Fuchs's cynicism and perhaps a more hopeful possible view from both Delwiche and Kelty.
